AFRICAN OPHTHALMOLOGY COUNCIL
The African Ophthalmology Forum, AOF, is a supranational ophthalmology organization, whose aim is to represent the interests of national and sub regional ophthalmological societies across Sub Saharan Africa as well as that of the members of those societies.
INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL OF OPHTHALMOLOGY
The International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) represents and serves professional associations of ophthalmologists throughout the world. The International Council of Ophthalmology works with ophthalmologic societies and others to enhance ophthalmic education and improve access to the highest quality eye care in order to preserve and restore vision for the people of the world.
OPHTHALMOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF NIGERIA
The Ophthalmological Society of Nigeria helps promote access by Nigerian ophthalmologists to the training and continuing education they need to ensure that all Nigerians have access to high quality and affordable eye care.
WORLD GLAUCOMA ASSOCIATION
The World Glaucoma Association is a global network whose sole purpose is to eliminate glaucoma-related disability worldwide. The WGA is an important source of information/education on glaucoma, glaucoma bodies/societies, awareness programs, meetings for ophthalmologists and other healthcare providers related to glaucoma.
AMERICAN ACADEMY OF OPHTHALMOLOGISTS
The American Academy of ophthalmologists is the largest national membership of Eye M.Ds whose mission is to advance the lifelong learning and professional interests of ophthalmologists (Eye M.D.s) to ensure that the public can obtain the best possible eye care.
MIDDLE-EAST AFRICA COUNCIL OF OPHTHALMOLOGY
MEACO is one of the four supranational organizations, recognized globally, representing the national and sub regional ophthalmological societies in Africa and the Middle East including Turkey and Iran.
